Patna is set to hit sporting overdrive for the All India Civil Services Sports Meet 2025, as Bihar’s capital prepares to host a high-energy, nationwide multi-sport showcase next year. With officers from central and state services arriving from across the country, the city will turn into a moving festival of competition — built to champion fitness, spark camaraderie beyond the desk, and play out across several venues around town.
Organisers promise a full-throttle schedule, blending track-and-field, popular indoor events and high-intensity team competitions, as participants chase medals and bragging rights on one of the calendar’s most anticipated civil-services sporting stages.
“Patna is ready to welcome the country,” an organising committee member said, adding that the meet will be run with “stadium-level planning and tight coordination.” A senior state official called it “a chance to show Bihar’s sporting ambition,” while another administrator noted that sport “builds discipline and unity that carry into public service.”
