Santosh Trophy Group 1: Jaipur hosts Dec 17–21 Vidhyadhar-Nagar
Jaipur will stage Santosh Trophy Group 1 matches from December 17 to 21 at Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium, with Rajasthan hosting Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu in a five-day push for a spot in the national round. The group is set up as a round-robin, meaning every team plays the others once and the top points-finisher qualifies.
Rajasthan come in with momentum after winning the group stage for the last three years, and they open at 2:30 pm on December 17 against Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, after Gujarat vs Maharashtra at 9 am.
RFA secretary Dilip Singh Shekhawat said “all the participating teams have already reached Jaipur,” adding they will “practice at the venue on Tuesday” ahead of kick-off. He also called the Jaipur leg “a big opportunity for local football fans” to see elite state teams up close.
