Wankhede to host India–England Disability T20s, Dec 16–18

India and England’s men’s physical disability cricket teams will light up the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai with a three-match T20I series from December 16 to 18, bringing elite disability cricket to one of the country’s most famous grounds. The matches are being staged to push the game further into the spotlight and give top players a stage usually reserved for the biggest names.
All three fixtures are scheduled under lights, with India aiming to make home advantage count and England keen to set the tone early in a short, high-intensity contest. “This is a big step for inclusion in cricket,” an organiser said, adding that Wankhede hosting the series “sends a strong message about visibility and respect for these athletes.”
A DCCI representative called it “a reward for years of hard work,” while an England official said the tour would “help grow the global profile of physical disability cricket.”
